Why Guests Love Vancouver

Must-do activities Series - only 15 minutes from Atrium Inn Vancouver

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is considered one of most wonderful parks in the world. It is the true heart of Vancouver. The seawall runs for 8.8 kilometres (5.5 miles) along Vancouver Harbor and English Bay. Each new corner you turn rewards you with spectacular views onto Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean. No matter what the weather, there will always be people walking, jogging or cycling along this scenic paved pathway.

We have lots of things to see in Stanley Park. Walk around the beautiful peaceful Lost Lagoon. Enjoy the two main beaches, Second Beach and Third Beach, at the park. Second Beach offers a pool, two playgrounds, tennis courts and the Pitch and Park. Three spectacular gardens are located here including the Mary Grieg Rhododendron Garden, Rose Garden and Shakespeare Garden. Totem poles are part of our First Nations culture and it is an important part of history of Stanley Park.

Tips:

  • Book our complimentary shuttle (one-way, based upon availability) to Canada Place.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • Rent a bike near Stanley Park.
  • Do not forget your sunscreen or rain coat (depending on the weather). Enjoy!
